We are looking for an experienced and skilled fabricator able to work under their own initiative, utilizing their experience, training and skills, who is willing and able to respond to instruction to deliver products to our uncompromising standards. Minimum requirements:
3 GCSEs at grade C or above, in at least one of the following subjects: Design technology (or similar equivalent), Mathematics, Physics.
Fluent English is a must for this role, due to the communicative nature of your ongoing training.
4 years experience in fabrication.
2 years experience in MIG/TIG welding.
Relevant qualifications, such as time served apprenticeships, NVQs etc. a clear advantage in this role.
Daily duties will include:
Operating machinery such as bandsaws, drills, grinders, etc.
Fabricating parts according to drawings, verbal instruction and jigs
Welding, fettling, finishing of parts and full assemblies.
Operating fabrication and sheet metal equipment, such as folders, rollers, benders, drills, saws, etc.
Keeping the workplace tidy and organized.
We are looking for self motivated, team players who are willing to work for the betterment of their peers as a whole.
Applicants subject to verified references and trade test.
Own transport to our workshop in Peterborough will be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.00-£14.00 per hour
